Deputy Production Chief

Responsibilities

• Drive industrialization elements for 17K/24K programs, managing engineering changes and mitigating production risks
• Review and approve industrial plans for engineering changes and implement lifecycle program plans
• Develop forums and leverage tools for production risk identification, escalation, and mitigation strategies
• Drive production readiness regarding technology, manufacturing readiness, and sourcing strategies
• Lead technical teams to achieve operational goals through integration and engagement
• Conduct airframe customer schedule analysis and coordinate with internal scheduling teams
• Execute assembly site communication and alignment to ensure customer on-time delivery
• Generate executive and program reporting on delivery performance and initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 12+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, quality, or supply chain (or a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience)
• Demonstrated experience in program management
• Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams
• Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build credibility at all organizational levels
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical experience in engineering change management and implementation
• Experience using process control, Six-Sigma, and/or Lean manufacturing tools
• Proficiency with SAP
