Deputy Physiotherapy Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the leadership and day-to-day operations of a high-performing acute physiotherapy team
• Manage a clinical caseload within short-stay Orthopaedic and General Surgical wards (75% clinical)
• Contribute to operational management, including rostering and driving key service portfolios (25% management)
• Lead, coach, and mentor junior staff and students to support professional growth
• Drive patient flow and service efficiency while maintaining exceptional care standards
• Collaborate with the Allied Health Manager and other Deputy Managers across the Epworth network

Requirements

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent
• Current physiotherapy registration with AHPRA
• Proven clinical leadership experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement
