Deputy Operations Director

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily campaign headquarters operations, including office logistics, administrative systems, and staff support functions
• Direct administrative and operational compliance processes, such as internal documentation, receipts, and invoices
• Coordinate interdepartmental travel logistics and planning, including staff travel, lodging, transportation, and itineraries
• Build and maintain systems and structures that improve organization, communication, and execution

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in political campaigns, government offices, operations, or logistics
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces under pressure
• Discretion and sound judgment in handling sensitive political, personal, and confidential information
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments and manage competing priorities
• Ability to work nontraditional hours reflecting the pace of a statewide campaign
• Commitment to the mission, values, and success of the Talarico for Texas campaign
