Deputy Manager/Manager - Electrical Engineering - Test Systems

Responsibilities

• Design control system architecture, PLC software, and electrical hardware (including BOM) for automotive test benches
• Verify software design inputs including cycle diagrams, hardware drawings, and supplier specifications
• Manage the software and hardware design and commissioning of third-party equipment and components
• Select and verify local electrical components and manage acquisitions
• Implement best practices for safety and ergonomics in accordance with local standards and governmental guidelines
• Lead internal and customer design reviews
• Perform BOM creation, cost calculations for local proposals, and DFMEA

Requirements

• 10-12 years of electrical engineering or design experience
• Technical expertise in automotive R&D testing or EOL testing, particularly with new energy vehicles
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related major
• Proficiency with EPLAN, Microsoft Office, and SAP
• Hands-on experience working with PLCs
• Strong knowledge of European and Indian electrical safety standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience within the testing industry
• Specific experience with battery testing facilities
