Deputy Manager - Strategy

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of growth strategies for SKF’s Industrial business across India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to prepare insight reports.
• Support segment and country strategies through data modeling, benchmarking, and business case preparation.
• Assist in creating financial models and dashboards to track strategic initiatives.
• Maintain PMO documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable execution.
• Identify technical trends and provide feedback to Product Development for competitive product evolution.
• Provide training and development for frontline sales and business development teams on new technologies.

Requirements

• MBA from a Tier-1 institution (e.g., IIMs, ISB, XLRI, SPJIMR, FMS).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in Strategy, Consulting, or Business Analysis.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI/Tableau, and basic SQL.
• Structured problem-solving skills and experience in program coordination or stakeholder management.
