Deputy Manager Quality Control

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and quality-compliant testing of finished products and timely delivery of testing documentation and samples to customers.
• Approve or reject raw materials, packaging, intermediates, and finished goods in accordance with GMP compliance and QP confirmation.
• Create, update, and review organizational instructions and written procedures related to Quality Control within the Clinical Service department.
• Implement and monitor management systems, specifically adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) rules.
• Perform Batch Record Reviews prior to forwarding to the Qualified Person (QP).
• Evaluate deviations, including internal and external complaints, and assist in deciding the treatment of defective products.
• Oversee the maintenance of facilities and equipment used for testing within the department.
• Monitor personnel and operational hygiene and inform the Qualified Person of all process parameters and deviations.
• Support the monitoring and control of environmental temperatures during manufacturing and storage.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in a Quality Control position, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in team leadership, including experience with disciplinary procedures.
• Strong knowledge of packaging plants, facilities, and processes.
• Expertise in risk analysis and associated methodologies.
• Fluency in both German and English (business level).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach to work.
