Deputy Manager (Provider Services)

Responsibilities

• Lead the residential service in the absence of the Registered Manager
• Manage, motivate, and develop a dedicated care team
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards with a focus on quality and sustainability
• Champion person-centred care and robust safeguarding practices
• Support service stability and continuous improvement through practical leadership
• Maintain a visible, hands-on presence within the service
• Participate in a 24-hour on-call rota and work flexibly across evenings, weekends, and bank holidays

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or care settings supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and care regulations
• Experience leading, supervising, and supporting staff teams
• Confidence in decision-making with strong communication and IT skills
• Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it)
