Deputy Manager - Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Understand customer specifications for High Voltage motors and allied systems for LUV, Thermal power, and Refinery projects.
• Prepare detailed motor manufacturing and testing documentation.
• Track and monitor project-wise in-house manufacturing plans to ensure timely execution through coordination with Production and Purchase departments.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding machining, stator/rotor lamination fitment, and technical documentation.
• Verify supplier compliance and deviations regarding electrical/mechanical construction and performance parameters.
• Ensure readiness of motor test setups for in-house testing and interact with external labs for special motor tests.
• Review and approve supplier documents and interact with customers for timely approvals.
• Monitor Quality Control Plans (QCP) and visit suppliers for inspection witness points during manufacturing.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in HT Motor manufacturing and handling customers/suppliers in projects.
• In-depth knowledge of HT motor manufacturing, winding processes, and testing procedures.
• Familiarity with motor certifications such as ATEX, PESO, and IECEx.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic SAP.
• Strong understanding of international and Indian standards for HV motors and allied systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant experience handling projects of a similar nature within the pump industry.
