Deputy Manager - Product Development (Nuclear/Special Valves)

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects from initial concept through to final production
• Manage valve design, simulation, and prototyping processes
• Execute design procedures, calculations, and qualification tests in compliance with nuclear specifications
• Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) according to industry standards
• Design and execute testing protocols, including flow, pressure, and seismic tests, to validate reliability
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Procurement to ensure customer requirements and cost targets are met
• Support technical evaluations of vendors for specialized components
• Ensure all designs meet international and client-specific standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in NPD project leadership
• Expertise in valve design and simulation
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and technical drawing creation
• Strong understanding of design calculations and BOM management
• Experience executing testing protocols (flow, pressure, seismic)
• Knowledge of nuclear specification compliance and international standards
