Deputy Manager - MICE Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing, negotiations, and vendor partnerships for domestic and international MICE programs
• Identify, evaluate, and finalize properties based on event briefs, budgets, and experience objectives
• Negotiate commercial rates, value additions, cancellation terms, and payment schedules
• Coordinate venue bookings and logistics for client-facing MICE events and internal offsites
• Manage end-to-end contracting with hotels, logistics agencies, and visa partners
• Work with finance teams to estimate costs, track budgets, and ensure compliance
• Stay updated with hospitality trends and market intelligence to offer differentiated options
• Ensure all hotel and travel documentation and GST compliance are in place

Requirements

• Graduate in Hospitality, Travel, or Event Management; MBA preferred
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in hotel/venue sourcing, event logistics, or MICE operations
• Strong network of domestic and international hotel chains and venue partners
• Prior experience handling sourcing for large-scale corporate events and incentive programs
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
• Deep understanding of hotel contracts and banquet coordination
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally based on project needs
