Deputy Manager AR & Credit

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Receivable operations across regions, driving global process standardization and compliance.
• Manage risk associated with customer portfolios by performing detailed credit assessments and proposing credit limits.
• Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and SLA monitoring to ensure efficiency across AR and Credit teams.
• Analyze financial statements, banking records, and market information to assess customer creditworthiness.
• Monitor exposure levels, track outstanding receivables, and implement risk control mechanisms to minimize bad debts.
• Perform cash applications, including payment allocation, resolving unallocated cash, and managing prepayments.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of customer accounts and bank receipts.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to receivables, overdue status, and collection performance.
• Lead and manage the AR/credit team, building succession plans and enhancing organizational capability.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 6-7 years of experience in finance-related profiles.
• Professional certification such as CFA or FRM.
• Strong expertise in credit analysis and risk assessment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) or Shared Services environment.
