Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to the Group Leader in sample preparation and measurement technology (inorganics)
• Take technical responsibility for the department, including organization, prioritization, and quality assurance of analyses
• Support the planning and control of resources, coordination, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Act as a deputy for the Laboratory Manager during absences
• Work closely with laboratory management to gradually transition into a leadership role

Requirements

• Completed degree in Chemistry or a comparable qualification
• Relevant experience in instrumental analysis with ICP-MS and ICP-OES
• Proficiency in sample preparation, measurement execution, and evaluation
• Ideally experience in method development and validation of analytical procedures
• Fluent German and English skills (written and spoken)
• Strong organizational skills, team spirit, and readiness to take on leadership responsibility
• Structured and quality-oriented way of working
