Deputy Head of Secondary

Responsibilities

• Act as a dynamic leader with a proven track record in driving school improvement and maintaining a strong presence within the school community
• Lead and manage staff effectively while promoting and developing innovative approaches to learning
• Partner with Heads of Department, Faculty, and Grade Leaders to disseminate data, action plans, and development strategies
• Take full accountability for key aspects of the Secondary School, providing analytical insights on performance against key indicators
• Oversee all aspects of secondary school assessments, including CAT4, GL Progress Tests, and PASS data, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders
• Initiate change and development within respective departments to foster best practices among staff and parents

Requirements

• Proven track record in school improvement and leadership
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing educational staff
• Strong ability to analyze performance data and implement data-driven actions
• Ability to initiate change and develop "best practice" standards
• A UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check is a mandatory pre-requisite
