Deputy Head of Secondary

Responsibilities

• Drive growth and development within the pastoral and academic teams
• Support school operations and ensure effective daily functioning
• Use data-driven approaches to inform and improve teaching and learning
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents at all levels
• Resolve conflicts and manage school-related challenges with initiative
• Attend and support school events held outside of standard school hours

Requirements

• Qualified Secondary School teacher
• Minimum of 4 years of middle leadership experience in an educational setting
• Proven experience in school operations
• Proficiency in IT, specifically with spreadsheets and Management Information Systems (e.g., iSams)
• Strong understanding of various curricula, including IBDP, HSC, IGCSE, or AC
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills
