Deputy General Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversee day-to-day operations across all hotel departments to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and profitability
• Support the General Manager in all aspects of hotel and golf club operations, acting as the primary decision-maker in their absence
• Ensure consistent delivery of 5-star luxury service in line with Relais & Châteaux standards
• Oversee food and beverage outlets to ensure high service standards, strict adherence to SOPs, and professional team presentation
• Drive operational performance through efficient resource planning, roster optimization, and revenue-generating upselling cultures
• Manage monthly financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost-efficiency reporting
• Foster a positive team culture focused on engagement, training, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation, including Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Employment law

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field
• 2-3 years of senior management or director-level experience within a 5-star luxury hotel or resort environment
• Strong leadership background and working knowledge of Food & Beverage operations in a luxury setting
• Proven track record of managing high-performance teams and delivering premium guest experiences
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor
• Must have the legal right to work in Ireland
