Deputy General Manager Production (OSD)

Responsibilities

• Lead production and warehouse operations for the Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) department, ensuring all activities align with commercial demands and quality standards.
• Provide sign-off authority for Master Batch Manufacturing Records (MBMR), Master Batch Packaging Records (MBPR), risk assessments, and process validation protocols.
• Oversee the implementation of CAPA plans, incident investigations, and change controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage resource optimization across manpower, materials, and machinery to maximize manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensure strict adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures.
• Facilitate site readiness for internal and regulatory agency audits and inspections.
• Coordinate with R&D, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Supply Chain departments to execute trial and validation batches.
• Monitor product quality and prevent contamination through rigorous process controls and MES handling.

Requirements

• B.Pharm or M.Pharm degree.
• 19+ years of extensive experience in pharmaceutical production.
• Proven experience working within USFDA regulated environments.
• Technical expertise in Oros technology and handling wrap matrix molecules.
• Specialized experience in handling Potent Molecules.
