Deputy General Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the ramp-up and ongoing operations of battery pack manufacturing from prototype to high-volume serial production
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of managers, supervisors, technicians, and operators
• Develop and implement manufacturing KPIs to track safety, costs, performance, and efficiency
• Support the deployment of active management tools like SCADA to enhance operational control
• Manage operational budgets and drive cost-saving measures through kaizen and lean manufacturing
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product development, finance, and EHS to ensure seamless process integration
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and optimize resource utilization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in construction management
• At least 5 years of experience on large, complex projects
• Strong project management skills including budget and plan implementation
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree
• Experience working with brownfield or greenfield sites
• Knowledge of Automotive Regulations, EV Batteries, or Energy
