Deputy General Counsel

Responsibilities

• Advise trading team on trading activities and regulatory requirements
• Review and prepare marketing materials for managed funds
• Manage portfolio investment transactions, asset acquisitions, and structured transactions
• Provide analysis of regulatory, litigation, and market developments
• Advise on management company structure and governance
• Represent the firm with regulators, investors, and third parties
• Advise compliance, tax, finance, and operations teams on legal matters
• Advise on employee matters, including policies, agreements, and immigration

Requirements

• J.D. degree
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience in investment management law
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical capabilities and strong interpersonal skills
