About the role
Responsibilities
- Support editorial leadership in defining and executing content strategy across digital, print, video, and social platforms.
- Oversee the ideation, commissioning, and editing of high-quality fashion, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle content.
- Drive social-first storytelling on platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Build and maintain relationships with creators, influencers, PR agencies, and youth-focused brands.
- Mentor editors, writers, and digital producers to foster a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Use performance data and SEO best practices to optimize reach, engagement, and audience growth.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to develop branded content that aligns with the brand's tone and Gen Z sensibility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in editorial strategy development and content oversight.
- Strong expertise in social-first storytelling and digital content trends.
- Ability to manage talent, influencers, and creative collaborators.
- Proficiency in using performance data and social insights to inform editorial decisions.
- Solid understanding of SEO and platform-native best practices.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Gen Z or millennial-focused media brands.
- Confidence and comfort appearing on camera for social media and video content.
