Deputy Director of Public Service Change

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow systems, place, and public service change work within complex environments
• Drive operational delivery of transformation programmes, turning strategic ambition into reality
• Work directly with clients, partners, and senior leaders to navigate change and improve service delivery
• Identify new opportunities, shape service propositions, and build strategic partnerships
• Contribute to business development and the evolution of the company's Homes and Missions model
• Support delivery teams through operational challenges to build organisational capability

Requirements

• Extensive experience in complex public service, local government, health, or VCSE sectors
• Proven track record of leading complex transformation, systems change, or service redesign
• Experience delivering change within live, high-pressure operational environments
• Strong business development skills with the ability to secure new commissioned work
• High level of strategic thinking combined with commercial awareness
• Ability to build credibility and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders
• Sound political awareness and the ability to lead decisively in complex settings
