Deputy Director of Finance Operations

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and management of finance systems and processes
• Supervise and manage Finance Associates, Finance Coordinator, and Call Time Manager
• Manage and build fundraising events across Texas
• Work with the Finance Director to develop major donor programming
• Support the Finance Director in growing and scaling the campaign’s fundraising operation in accordance with the finance plan

Requirements

• Interest in and knowledge of Democratic politics
• Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to accuracy and detail
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with GSuite, Microsoft tools, Numero, and NGP
• Access to reliable transportation for statewide travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Two cycles of campaign experience
• Ties to Texas or knowledge of Texas politics and labor organizations
