About the role
Responsibilities
- Set and drive the strategic direction for MOIA’s policy and programmatic work
- Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs serving immigrant New Yorkers
- Lead development of policy initiatives to improve access to services and expand opportunities
- Integrate economic justice into policy work, including workforce access and worker protections
- Coordinate with City agencies to align policy and program efforts affecting immigrant communities
- Oversee policy and programmatic responses to emerging issues and crises
- Supervise policy and program staff to ensure accountability and performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in government, public policy, or program management
- Significant experience managing teams and leading complex initiatives
- Proven ability to manage high-pressure work and emerging community issues
