About the role

Responsibilities

  • Set and drive the strategic direction for MOIA’s policy and programmatic work
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs serving immigrant New Yorkers
  • Lead development of policy initiatives to improve access to services and expand opportunities
  • Integrate economic justice into policy work, including workforce access and worker protections
  • Coordinate with City agencies to align policy and program efforts affecting immigrant communities
  • Oversee policy and programmatic responses to emerging issues and crises
  • Supervise policy and program staff to ensure accountability and performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in government, public policy, or program management
  • Significant experience managing teams and leading complex initiatives
  • Proven ability to manage high-pressure work and emerging community issues
