Responsibilities
- Process property tax payments and balance collected revenues daily
- Respond to routine inquiries from the public regarding taxes or fees
- Perform general office duties including data entry, filing, and making copies
- Answer telephone calls and provide professional assistance to taxpayers
- Maintain accurate records and organize daily workloads effectively
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-4 years of experience in cash handling, customer service, and general office procedures
- Proficiency in typing at least 40 WPM
- Ability to operate a 10-key calculator by touch
- Strong computer literacy and ability to communicate effectively in written and oral forms
- Ability to work with little to no supervision and maintain a professional attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Five years of general office experience
