Depot Manager

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a minimum of six depot employees, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee daily depot operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Manage driver and fleet performance by monitoring DOT Hours of Service and conducting vehicle audits.
• Lead safety initiatives, including monthly safety meetings, risk assessments, and incident prevention.
• Perform quality assurance spot checks on equipment installations and field service performance.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams.
• Review and approve timesheets and manage payroll processing.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in logistics, distribution, or industrial operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with inventory or payroll software.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in industrial settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
• Class A or B CDL.
• Tanker and HAZMAT endorsements.
