Depot Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of depot employees, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
• Oversee daily depot operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Supervise drivers and technicians to ensure DOT Hours of Service compliance and safe driving behaviors
• Conduct regular audits of vehicles, equipment, and facilities to meet OSHA and DOT standards
• Lead monthly safety meetings and implement procedures to maintain a zero-incident environment
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee incoming deliveries using inventory management software
• Perform quality spot checks on equipment installations and field service performance
• Coordinate with Logistics and Scheduling to optimize routes and balance workloads

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in logistics, distribution, or industrial operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory control software
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and DOT standards
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree
• Class A or B CDL
• Tanker and HAZMAT endorsements
• Experience with UltiPro Payroll System
• Medical Card
