Depot Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee health and safety compliance, risk assessments, and emergency planning
• Manage maintenance of depot buildings, infrastructure, track, and interceptor systems
• Maintain depot plant and equipment in compliance with legislation
• Manage utilities and cleaning contracts
• Establish and manage an engineering stores and inventory management system
• Coordinate with stakeholders, depot owners, and Network Rail
• Oversee depot improvement projects and manage Capex applications
• Maintain depot security and conduct inductions

Requirements

• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Proven experience in Health and Safety and contract management
• At least 3 years of experience in a depot management role
• Strong communication skills for interacting with artisans, contractors, and rail authorities
