Deployment Intern

Responsibilities

• Execute the full deployment workflow from pre-installation through post-installation
• Review photos and documentation to assess installation feasibility and code compliance
• Generate permit packages and prepare interconnection agreement submissions
• Submit applications through AHJ and utility portals
• Coordinate with members, utilities, and AHJs to advance projects
• Manage REP enrollments to ensure timely processing
• Close out permits and maintain clean project records
• Identify and propose solutions for process and tool improvements

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination, operations, or similar roles
• Experience in solar, battery, construction, or utility sectors preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience coordinating with external stakeholders like inspectors or utilities
• Proficiency in managing documentation and online portals
• High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the renewable energy or utility sector
