Responsibilities

• Own the forecast and BvA for install cost, field labor, logistics, permitting, and ongoing O&M
• Build unit-cost models for installations flexed across geographies, channels, and site complexity
• Partner with deployments and field-service leadership on cost-down roadmaps
• Own the financial framework for the 10+ year service obligation, including warranty reserves and fleet lifecycle margin
• Translate operational data into actionable insights for field crews and corporate models
• Use AI tooling to automate job-level analytics and forecasting
• Pressure-test financial assumptions by riding along on installs and service calls

Requirements

• 3-7 years in finance or operations at a deployment, field-service, or logistics-heavy business
• Proven track record of building install-cost or service-cost models that drove cost-reduction
• Strong intuition for field economics, including labor productivity and route density
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL
• Experience with BI tools such as Omni or Looker
• Ability to work in-person and thrive in a high-pace startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at companies like Sunrun, Sunnova, ChargePoint, EVgo, or Tesla Energy
• Background in consulting, investing, or investment banking
