Deployment Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Deployment Engineers to support field crews during live installations and service calls
• Participate in real-time troubleshooting alongside experienced engineers over phone, text, and Slack
• Support fleet monitoring using tools like Grafana and Retool to flag system health issues and surface trends
• Help create and maintain troubleshooting aids, hardware defect logs, and deployment playbooks
• Analyze patterns from field interactions to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities
• Contribute to cross-team conversations with hardware, software, and Member Experience

Requirements

• Current junior or senior in an undergraduate program, or a graduate student
• Major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong foundation in electrical concepts and fundamentals
• Passion for hands-on problem solving and working close to real-world systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with monitoring or ticketing tools (e.g., Grafana, Retool, Jira, Odoo)
• Exposure to electrical code, hardware troubleshooting, or field operations
