Deployment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end guidance and troubleshooting for battery installations and service calls via phone, text, and Slack
• Serve as the first line of technical support for in-field electrical questions and hardware issues
• Identify field issue trends and flag high-impact issues to hardware, software, or deployment teams
• Work closely with Member Experience to ensure high-quality member interactions
• Create and maintain troubleshooting aids and hardware defect logs
• Create, track, and close service tickets through Jira or Odoo
• Analyze issues and update deployment playbooks

Requirements

• 2+ years in a technical support, electrical, or IT troubleshooting role
• Strong foundation in electrical concepts
• 4-year degree or equivalent electrical experience
• Proven ability to learn complex technical systems including electrical code and hardware
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Tech-savvy with the ability to master new tools like Grafana and Retool

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed electrician
• Hands-on field experience
• Bilingual skills
