Department Manager, Quality Control

Responsibilities

• Lead quality control across multiple production environments, including manual fabrication and automated manufacturing lines
• Manage and develop a team of 50+ QC technicians and quality professionals
• Scale workflows, inspection processes, and quality systems to optimize efficiency and throughput
• Track KPIs, analyze trends, and conduct root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement
• Monitor and enforce adherence to manufacturing quality standards, SOPs, and process controls
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Automation teams to execute high-impact improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading Quality in a manufacturing, production, or technical environment
• Strong understanding of quality systems, process controls, and continuous improvement methodologies
• High comfort level with digital tools, production technology, and automated systems
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive action
• Strong leadership presence and team development skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational discipline
