Department Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the department
• Manage and develop skilled field technicians, installers, and office personnel
• Ensure projects are completed timely, efficiently, and within budget
• Proactively address and manage customer interactions to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain department Budget and P&L responsibility, controlling labor and material costs
• Improve individual performance through regular performance reviews
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing new employees

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Supervisory or managerial experience in equipment repair, installation, or related industries preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to manage field technicians and office staff to maximize profit and service quality
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
