Department Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive store growth.
• Manage store functions, including staffing, recruiting, assessing, and onboarding new teammates.
• Drive business results and critical metrics such as sales, budgeting, and people management.
• Equip employees with the necessary tools and training to succeed in their daily responsibilities.
• Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.
• Implement service principles and represent the global culture of sport and the NIKE brand.

Requirements

• Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
• One year of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
• Proven ability to utilize tools for conflict resolution, employee coaching, and counseling.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
