Department Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing retail team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Manage store business results and critical metrics, including sales, budgeting, and planning.
• Oversee the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.
• Recruit, assess, and onboard new teammates to ensure optimal staffing levels.
• Equip employees with the necessary tools and training to succeed in their daily responsibilities.
• Implement service principles and represent the global culture of sport and the NIKE brand.

Requirements

• Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
• One year of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
• Proven ability to utilize tools for conflict resolution, employee coaching, and counseling.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and climbing ladders.
• Availability to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
