Department Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business growth
• Recruit, assess, and onboard new teammates to ensure optimal store staffing
• Manage store business results and critical metrics, including sales, budgeting, and planning
• Equip employees with the necessary tools and training to succeed in their daily responsibilities
• Oversee the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor
• Implement service principles to represent the global culture of sport and the NIKE brand

Requirements

• Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience
• One year of leadership experience
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail business systems
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and climbing ladders
• Proven ability to utilize tools for conflict resolution, employee coaching, and counseling
• Availability to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
