Department Manager Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Lead and take responsibility for energy supply (electricity, gas, water, etc.), infrastructure, construction and facility management, maintenance, and administration
• Plan, coordinate, and manage projects in close collaboration with plant management, internal departments, and external partners
• Initiate and implement optimization processes and support investment decision-making
• Negotiate and manage contracts with both internal and external partners
• Oversee occupational medicine and service delivery for external partners

Requirements

• Completed technical or commercial degree (TU/FH or equivalent)
• Multi-year leadership experience in a generalist role within a manufacturing environment (e.g., Plant Manager, Infrastructure Manager, Project Management Lead, or Purchasing Manager)
• Strong technical affinity and a solid understanding of industrial processes
• Fluency in both German and English
• Excellent management, leadership, and communication skills
• Highly organized, structured, and solution-oriented approach with a strong service orientation
