Department Manager - Finance

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and correct monthly and annual closings
• Lead, develop, and prioritize tasks within your team
• Drive continuous improvements of processes, systems, and workflows
• Establish and follow up on KPIs for the department
• Quality assure accounting material and financial deliverables
• Contribute actively to operations, including reconciliations and budget follow-up
• Ensure strong collaboration with the business and relevant authorities
• Act as a key contributor to the transition to the D365F&O ERP system

Requirements

• Relevant higher education in economics or accounting (e.g., HD-R or cand.merc.aud.)
• Solid experience in a similar role involving accounting, reporting, and leadership
• Advanced Excel skills
• In-depth knowledge of Navision and AX
• Experience with databases and potentially macro programming
• Structured work style with a focus on quality and deadlines
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to create direction and engagement

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of D365F&O
