Department Manager

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to drive category performance and contribute to overall store success
• Lead, inspire, and develop a team of approximately 50 colleagues, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback on the shop floor to elevate individual and team capability
• Deliver a consistently elevated and personalised client experience in line with Burberry standards
• Monitor trading performance and adjust priorities to meet and exceed sales and service goals
• Uphold excellence across visual merchandising, operations, and team engagement

Requirements

• Experience in a retail leadership role, ideally within luxury or premium environments
• Proven ability to lead larger teams and create an inclusive, motivating team culture
• Strong commercial awareness with a focus on delivering results through people
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across teams and with clients
• Organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Genuine passion for luxury retail, client experience, and craftsmanship
