Department Leader

Responsibilities

• Establish, supervise, and improve manufacturing processes using statistical control methodologies and defined quality tools.
• Manage the budget for the mini business unit (MBU), including cost analysis for materials, spare parts, and losses.
• Define and maintain process configurations and standards through the Manufacturing Excellence program.
• Optimize production processes sustainably using root cause analysis and standardization.
• Cascade company KPIs to operational teams and provide necessary training and guidance.
• Conduct timely performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff.
• Lead daily operations meetings with detailed evidence-based results to determine daily directions.
• Manage payroll effectively to avoid incidents.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Process, or related Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or project management.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing methodologies (5S, TPM, Kaizen, etc.).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Kronos.
• Knowledge of ISO regulations and Power BI.
• Experience managing unionized workforces and labor relations.
• Availability to work various schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Strong background in BPMs (Business Process Management).
• Proven leadership skills with a focus on empowerment and results.
