Department Leader

Responsibilities

• Manage total operation results for multiple production lines, focusing on Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale (SQCDM).
• Provide leadership, direction setting, and coaching to develop organizational capability within the department.
• Ensure the application and development of systems and standards, including work instructions, safety procedures, and manufacturing excellence best practices.
• Oversee the fulfillment of the maintenance plan and manage the department's operational budget.
• Develop department objectives aligned with site needs and cascade goals down to individual teams.
• Ensure production orders are delivered according to specifications, on time, and within cost constraints.
• Identify CAPEX needs to support midterm operational plans.
• Act as a role model for performance management, coaching, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Proven ability in decision making, conflict management, and problem-solving.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Financial awareness and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field.
• Prior experience in a formal leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience with Daily Direction Setting (DDS) and manufacturing excellence standards.
