Dental Technician

Responsibilities

• Carry out dental nursing services and care for patients in the outpatient department
• Perform initial patient assessments to determine priority needs
• Plan and execute nursing care to prevent worsening of patient conditions
• Provide tools and medicines to doctors and assist during examinations
• Assist patients during procedures to ensure privacy and comfort
• Document all treatments and patient history for medical reference
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment processes
• Collect data and prepare operational reports for superiors

Requirements

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Technology
• Experience as a dental technician or in a similar healthcare role preferred
• Expertise in dental laboratory equipment and materials
• Thorough understanding of dental prosthetic design and fabrication
• High attention to detail and precision in constructing dental devices
• Patience in crafting and adjusting dental appliances to exact specifications
