Dental Technician

Responsibilities

• Carry out dental nursing services and care for patients in the outpatient department
• Perform initial patient assessments to determine priority needs
• Plan and execute nursing care actions independently or collaboratively
• Provide necessary tools and medicines to doctors and assist during examinations
• Accompany patients during procedures to ensure privacy and comfort
• Document all treatments, disease history, and patient visit statistics
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment processes
• Collect data and prepare operational reports for superiors
• Implement quality and safety procedures and attend required training

Requirements

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Nursing
• Experience as a dental technician or in a similar healthcare setting preferred
• Expertise in using dental laboratory equipment and materials
• Thorough understanding of dental prosthetic design and fabrication
• High attention to detail for precise construction of dental devices
• Precision and patience in crafting dental appliances to exact specifications
