Dental Office Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dental office, including scheduling, billing, and patient care
• Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure efficiency
• Present financial treatment plans and secure case acceptance
• Meet monthly production/collection goals
• Increase revenue and profit while controlling costs to meet monthly budgets
• Boost staff morale, motivation, and team-building activities
• Oversee staff scheduling and coverage
• Respond to patient concerns to ensure high satisfaction levels

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years in GP or pediatrics as a Manager or 3 years as a Treatment Coordinator
• Thorough knowledge of dental billing and insurance (PPO/HMO and Denti-cal)
• Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
• Advanced knowledge of dental terminology
• Familiarity with financing options like Care Credit or Lending Club
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work some Saturdays
• Must love working with children

Preferred Qualifications

• Orthodontics experience
• Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend
