Sandgate Dental Practice is a general dental practice located in the town centre of Ayr offering both NHS and private treatment. As part of the Clyde Munro Group, we celebrate the individuality of each practice while providing the support and structure of a wider group focused on providing the best patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support in all day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries
• Ensure the delivery of excellent patient care while complying with clinical and health & safety guidance
• Create a welcoming environment for patients to set them at ease
• Maintain accurate patient records using Software of Excellence
• Set up surgeries appropriately to maximize efficiency and utilization
• Anticipate clinician and patient requirements, ensuring necessary lab work and equipment are in place
• Monitor surgery stock levels
• Undertake reception duties including answering telephones, making appointments, and collecting charges

Requirements

• GDC registration
• Experience working in Private or NHS practices
• Commitment to high levels of patient care
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Enthusiastic attitude with an appetite to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dental setting (though trainees will be considered)
