About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside support in all day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries
- Ensure delivery of excellent patient care while complying with clinical and health & safety guidance
- Create a welcoming environment for patients to set them at ease
- Maintain accurate patient records using Software of Excellence
- Set up surgeries appropriately to maximize efficiency and utilization
- Anticipate clinician and patient requirements, ensuring necessary lab work and equipment are in place
- Monitor surgery stocks to maintain appropriate levels
- Undertake reception duties including answering telephones, making appointments, and collecting charges
Requirements
- GDC registration
- Experience working in Private or NHS practices
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Enthusiastic with an appetite to learn and develop new skills
