Dental Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Fabricate fixed and removable prostheses including dentures, crowns, and bridges according to dentist prescriptions
• Construct maxillo-facial prostheses and implantology prostheses
• Create models of the mouth using impressions and build-up wax replicas
• Utilize CAD/CAM units and various dental laboratory equipment
• Perform plaster casting, metal casting, metal polishing, and ceramics work
• Maintain supplies, inventories, and equipment operation
• Document all actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of Dental Laboratory Technician coursework or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control compliance
• Ability to sit for long periods and perform tasks requiring close vision and depth perception

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Dental Lab or Dental Office setting
