Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough and accurate oral assessments to identify patients' oral health conditions
• Clean and remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth
• Administer local anesthesia as required for dental procedures
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and products
• Take and process dental X-rays
• Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride varnishes or sealants
• Conduct periodontal charting and assist in treating gum diseases
• Facilitate and coordinate other office responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a dental hygienist
• Hygiene Provider State Licensure
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• High school diploma
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
