Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Evaluate walk-in patients to determine potential diagnosis, acuity, and urgency of treatment needs.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' oral health, including examining teeth and gums to identify signs of oral disease.
• Support dentists during procedures by preparing and sterilizing instruments, setting up treatment rooms, and providing chairside assistance.
• Take dental X-rays and perform other diagnostic tests to assist in oral health diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all procedures performed and observations made.
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Manage inventory by ordering and maintaining dental supplies at necessary par levels.
• Participate in required mass-casualty drills and remain available for on-call coverage as part of a rotation.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Dental Hygienist or Dental Assistant.
• Completion of an accredited Dental Hygienist Program or approved Dental Assistant course.
• Current and unrestricted dental license or authorizing document from your country of record.
• Valid dental radiology license.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Ability to relocate to Doha, Qatar.
• Possession of a valid passport from your country of record.
• Ability to obtain a base security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) or equivalent.
• Recent clinical experience in patient care (at least six months within the past year).
