Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures in accordance with state dental board requirements
• Educate patients on strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal disease
• Discuss the links between periodontal conditions and overall systemic health
• Chart periodontal disease conditions to collaborate with the Dentist on treatment plans
• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling and maintaining practice equipment

Requirements

• Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and dental software
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to support surrounding offices

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a licensed Dental Hygienist
• Experience with Dentrix software
