About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform periodontal procedures in accordance with state dental board requirements
- Educate patients on periodontal disease prevention and oral health maintenance
- Discuss links between periodontal conditions and overall systemic health
- Chart periodontal disease conditions to assist Dentist in treatment planning
- Collaborate with the team on scheduling and maintaining practice equipment
- Travel up to 20% to support surrounding practices
Requirements
- Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board
- Excellent communication skills with team and patients
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dental software
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience as a licensed Dental Hygienist
- Experience with Dentrix software
